About Us
Victor Miranda is the founder of Integritas Business Law and brings with him a wealth of experience gained in the private and public sectors, and academia. He is an internationally trained lawyer who has worked as a lawyer, legal consultant, legal researcher, and trusted advisor to businesses.
He is also an entrepreneur.
In a career that spans over 25 years, Victor worked for law firms (both in Canada and Europe), the European Commission, the Faculty of Law of the University of Brussels, global consulting corporations, the Ontario government, and Ontario Crown agencies, among other. In Canada, he is called to the Bars of Ontario and Saskatchewan.
After meeting the requirements to start the bar admission process in Canada, he articled with the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General, practiced corporate/commercial law at an Ontario Crown agency, acted as corporate secretary of another Ontario Crown agency, and practiced law in law firms in Ontario and Saskatchewan, with a particular focus on business and corporate/commercial law.
Victor is known for excelling at using his sharp analytical and problem-solving skills to assist his clients with strategizing their business decisions and achieving their goals – that is to say, he is known for mastering the art of taking a close look at the trees without losing sight of the forest.
Victor is a practical person, who takes pleasure in simplifying complex matters, and believes in the power of communicating effectively and using plain language to help his clients grasp the intricacies of their legal challenges.
Among other academic degrees, Victor holds an LLM from the University of Toronto and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business (York University).
In addition to the law, Victor enjoys the arts, traveling, and activities in and on the water, as well as spending time with his family and friends. He speaks fluent French, Spanish and Portuguese, and has some knowledge of Dutch and Italian.
